gdnam brand identity
The University of North Dakota Art Department asked for submissions of brand identities for the Graphic Design and New Art Media section of the department. My logo is based on the blood, sweat and tears that students put into their work to then have graded by professors.
The geometric take on the drop symbol was used to give an updated and modern look to the department. I used original photos of nature and the design of a maze because college is a time for students to find their artistic voice and the path they want to follow with their career. Below you can view the entire branding system including, letterhead, envelope, business card, brochure, poster and promotional item. The promotional item that I chose to design was a keychain that when worn by students, would advertise the art department.
