After a week of long anticipated sunshine, I can happily say that Punta Cana is not only filled with beautiful landscape but also wonderful people! We stayed for a week at the Majestic Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They are comprised of three unique all inclusive hotels at different tiers. While my mom claims she accidentally booked us at the top tier, I like to think this happy accident was just what we needed.
The resort has four long pools that wrapped along the sides of the “U” shaped hotel with cabana beds and lounge chairs along the edges so each guest feels like they have their own piece of the pool. While I wouldn’t give the food a five star review (remember this is coming for a picky pescatarian), I think they made up for it with their superb accommodations and resort workers. By the end of the week we had connections with a few of the sweet workers. The nightly shows, which I usually do not pay attention to nor care to at other all inclusive resorts we have visited, were excellent! It was as if they had a full cast of dancers and singers performing multiple nights. They were amazing, two of my favorites were the Broadway Night and Ladies Night.
I highly recommend this beautiful resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. They are also opening a resort in Cancun, hopefully one day we can make it to that one too! Ciao!
